My Years Of Experience at DDSC
My journey started March 18th, 1996 with SEDECO. I was hired by Jim Yates and began my training. For several months I trained with other techs here in the U.S. then I trained for a month in Nogoya, Japan. In those days, the average machine sale was 12 and 18 head machines. There were a lot of large factories producing embroidery as fast as they could. I stayed very busy installing and servicing those big machines. When Hirsch purchased SEDECO in 1997, I continued to work as a field service technician until March of 2007 when I became the service manager for Hirsch International’s South East Division. My area of responsibility included 13 states in the south east region of the United States. I also stayed in the field during that period as a full time field technician. In December of 2012 I left Hirsch International to go out on my own. While I do not work directly for Hirsch International any longer I still have a close working relationship with them as an independent contractor.
